MADCAT Web Design is an Internet Consultancy business run by husband and wife team Dave and Maggie Catley.

Of course the burning question on everyone’s lips is “Why MADCAT? …

Well, “MADCAT” as a name originally came about because our friends back in the UK nicknamed us “MAD”, short for Maggie and Dave and it kind of stuck. Shortly after that we migrated to Australia and when it came time to set up our business we simply extended the “MAD” to encompass both our love of cats and the natural world along with our surname of Catley. And so MADCAT Digital Design was born.

Our logo is one of our pet cats, Mist, who is rather shy and seen peeking out around a tree. To us it symbolises our clients and how they feel about this mysterious world known as the World Wide Web. There is a lot of information thrown at us by media and web specialists and it can be hard to sift out the truth from the marketing hype!

MADCAT Digital Design was started by us in 2000. We had already been working as professional Software Developers from the mid 1980s involved in projects ranging from Military Defense Systems up to high end corporate database applications. Having been working for local Perth software agencies for 10 years we decided it was time to branch out and start our own business.

MADCAT Digital Design was created with the aim of specialising in helping small & medium businesses with their online presence. In the beginning this involved designing and building web sites but has since evolved, along with the web, into helping businesses create and manage a complete Online Strategy including focused web sites, online shops, social media and integration with mobile devices.

We are and will remain a small business allowing us to understand your needs and fears on a practical level. We are not in the business of selling solutions that we cannot deliver, we will be open and honest about what we can do to help you.

We are here to help you create a cost-effective and active online presence, show casing your business to your target audience and helping you get quality leads from your Online Strategy.

If there are any areas that you do not understand then we will be happy to come and explain it to you, we’re not here for a quick buck we are looking to form ongoing partnerships with you, our clients.

The online world is changing so fast that it is hard to keep up with it, it’s our job to keep abreast of these changes, translate them into meaningful strategies and then pass on to our clients in a way that you can directly benefit from.
